Severe April Showers
It’s currently 1:00 PM in Nashville, TN, with temperatures sitting at a brisk 48°F in the midst of a stormy atmosphere. The humidity is moderate at 42%, and with calm winds, the conditions feel slightly cooler than what the thermometer suggests. Overhead, the sky is cloaked in dark, looming clouds, setting a tense mood across the city—an early sign of spring’s volatility.
Weather Changes Coming
As we head into the evening, anticipate shifting conditions. The humidity could rise, making the air feel heavier and more oppressive despite the cool temperatures. Look out for potential rainfall that may start around late afternoon, adding a chilling dampness to the air. With the threat of storms lingering, this shift may create a stark contrast to the clarity that typically accompanies early spring days. Prepare for the chill that the rain brings, emphasizing layers if you plan to be outdoors.
Tonight’s Forecast
As night falls, expect the weather to be markedly unsettled. Rain is likely, and temperatures may dip further, creating a heightening sense of chill in the air. Keep an eye on the river levels as the Cumberland and Stones Rivers continue to rise; flooding could affect local parks and recreational areas. With the mood shifting towards a rainy backdrop and misty evenings, let’s brace ourselves for an unpredictable night ahead. So, if you venture out, remember to bundle up and stay safe!
