Weather Alerts
Attention, Nashville residents! Our weather team is closely monitoring severe conditions as we experience significant rainfall and rising river levels. Please stay tuned for further updates, and remember to remain aware of your surroundings and the evolving weather situations!
Severe Weather Reports
It’s currently 12:46 AM in Nashville, TN, with temperatures at a chilly 40°F, under the grip of severe weather conditions. The humidity is a high 79%, creating a damp atmosphere that may feel colder than it is. Winds are calm, but don’t let that lull you into complacency; the potential for downpours still looms, adding a certain heaviness to the air. Visibility may be low as clouds blanket the sky, creating a somber and overcast mood across the city.
Weather Changes Coming
Keep an eye out, as we expect more rain to move in throughout the day. The combination of rising humidity and the anticipated precipitation will likely make conditions feel sticky and oppressive at times. Though currently calm, a shift in wind patterns could bring heavy gusts, making it feel much colder. Dress for warmth if you’re heading out; even a mild temperature can feel dramatically cooler when the wind picks up.
Overnight and Tomorrow
Looking ahead to the next 24 hours, expect the weather to evolve with intermittent rain likely throughout the day. Temperatures will hover around the low 50s by morning, but as the skies lighten, you might feel a stark contrast as that damp chill settles in. With flood advisories still in effect for local rivers, be cautious if you’re planning to be outdoors, especially near low-lying areas. Tomorrow when the sun rises, keep your umbrellas handy as showers may linger, possibly extending into the late morning. Stay safe, Nashville!
