Weather Alerts

The National Weather Service is actively monitoring severe weather conditions in the Nashville area. Residents are advised to stay tuned for further updates and ensure they’re weather aware, especially concerning the flood advisories currently in effect.

Severe Weather Conditions

It’s currently 11:00 AM in Nashville, TN, with temperatures sitting at a chilly 40°F. The humidity is at 62%, which makes the air feel cool and a bit damp. Winds are calm, allowing the chill to settle in your bones—perfect weather for staying indoors if you can help it. The sky is overcast, casting a dull gray blanket over the city as severe weather looms—be prepared for changing conditions as the day progresses.

Weather Changes Coming

As we look ahead, expect temperature fluctuations; even with the calm winds, the cold will feel sharper due to rising humidity later in the day. Be ready for potential rain, making it feel heavier and cooler outside. Those warm layers might stay buried for a while longer as the chill lingers throughout the afternoon.

Today’s Outlook

Looking into today’s forecast, rain is anticipated to move into the area, enhancing the chill and possibly causing additional flooding concerns, particularly along the Cumberland and Stones Rivers. There might be a noticeable drop in temperatures this evening, so if you’re out and about, dress warmly. Remember, conditions could change rapidly, so keep an eye on those weather alerts and plan accordingly for a damp and cooler evening ahead.
