Oh, what a day in Nashville, my friend,

But with clouds overhead, there’s a chance of some fear.
The air is so heavy, it’s sticky and damp,

The winds are all calm, not a whisper or sound,

Now listen up closely, there’s news for the crew,
The temp may rise up a bit, that’s true!

But those thunderstorms chatter, they form and they swarm.
The rain comes a-pouring, so don’t be forlorn,
