Get Your Latitude & Longitude for WeatherWrite
To configure WeatherWrite for your city, you’ll need an accurate Latitude and Longitude. Simply enter your City and State below, copy your coordinates, and paste them into the plugin to complete setup.
Precision Matters
- Smaller coverage area: Use full decimal coordinates (e.g.,
36.2827471 / -86.4847271). - Larger coverage area: Use rounded numbers (e.g.,
36 / -86).
Town centers may not include nearby communities. If you’re reporting for a smaller town or rural area, try searching specifically for that location to get the most accurate coordinates.
Why This Tool is Separate
Keeping security tight is our priority. Embedding a live geo-location lookup directly in the plugin required open network ports, which posed a security risk and was inconsistent across different hosting environments. Rather than compromise security or create complex setup issues, we built this standalone tool—simple, fast, and safe on any server.
