These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the WeatherWrite WordPress plugin (“WeatherWrite” or the “Service”), owned and operated by Mike Freeman (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By installing, activating, or using WeatherWrite, you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License & Use

WeatherWrite is licensed, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use WeatherWrite on your WordPress website(s) according to these Terms.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or distribute WeatherWrite without written permission.

2. Generated Content & Data Sources

WeatherWrite generates automated weather posts using third-party weather data providers. While we aim for accuracy, we make no guarantees about data precision, timeliness, or completeness.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and publishing generated content on your site.

3. Accounts & API Keys

Use of WeatherWrite requires registration for an API key. You are responsible for safeguarding your key and preventing misuse.
All actions taken under your key are your responsibility.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Free and paid subscription plans are available.

  • Paid plans are billed by our secure third-party payment processor.

  • Unused credits may expire as described in your plan.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeatherWrite and Mike Freeman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Inaccurate or delayed weather data.

  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

  • Issues arising from WordPress updates, hosting environments, or third-party integrations.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring your use of WeatherWrite complies with all applicable laws and with your hosting provider’s and WordPress’s terms of service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to WeatherWrite at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
Upon termination, your license will be revoked and your API key disabled.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mike Freeman, affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from your use of WeatherWrite or your violation of these Terms.

9. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are significant, we’ll notify you by email or within the plugin. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
